Tai Chi is both an ancient martial art and a moving meditation; a way to cultivate your physical body, energy body and spirit body. Tai Chi is one of the most complete practices. If you practice as it was intended and learn the inner alchemy behind the movement, it will heal your body and mind.
In this course Grandmaster Mantak Chia teaches the inner alchemy and structure of Tai Chi, the secrets most teachers don’t share with you. You will learn specific breathing techniques and the basic necessary practices of Inner Alchemy, allowing you to transform the Tai Chi form into an energy cultivation practice.
Every Sunday, Master Mantak Chia will focus on the structure of Tai Chi and the energetic transformation that takes place within your body while performing the form. He will reveal the ancient practice of Iron Shirt Qigong: how to stand and align your body, and how to pack qi/energy into your structure to create inner support, giving you root power and stability to fortify your physical and emotional body.
Twice a week, the UHT senior instructors will explain the Qigong form step-by-step and review the Tao Basic practices during their sessions. You will learn the Tai Chi Qigong 1 form which has 13 movements performed in 4 directions. It’s a short form so can be memorized quickly allowing you to focus on the inner alchemy as opposed to the outer, more visible movement, and it can be practiced in as little as 2 square meters!!!
