Taoist Weddings at Tao Garden – The Spiritual Union of the Tao – The Tao, the Original Nature of all living things is formless, invisible and eternal. It manifests itself in form and disappears again into formlessness; it does not act, it does not talk, it is fathomless and the inexhaustible source of all life. The Tao is so great that it is not to be seen or named. For the things, which are, seen are temporal, but the things, which are not seen, are eternal.

The Tao cannot be named and the Tao, which is named, is not the Tao. The truth that may be told is not the Tao, the everlasting truth. Above all, the one important message of Tao is the Oneness and Spiritual Union of the human form and the Universe. The Universe has the four seasons of summer, autumn, winter and spring; whereas the human form has four limbs. The Universe has the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire and earth), the nine cardinal points and 366 days.

The human form has five vital organs (heart, lungs, kidney, liver and spleen), and the 366 joints and branches. The Universe has wind, rain, cold, and heat; and we have the activities of giving and taking, and the emotions of joy, hatred, kindness, anger, courage, sadness, fairness, worry, gentleness, and fear.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YesdrYB4D8g” align=”center”][vc_column_text]The Union that attains the Tao sees perfect beauty and feels perfect happiness. Happiness and anger, joys and sorrows, will not enter their heart, for this universe represents the unity of all things. When one perceives this union and is united with it, they regard their bodily form as dust of the earth and the cycle of life and death as the alternating of day and night.

This Union cannot be disturbed by accidents, or occurrences of fortune and misfortune. This Union does not deviate from the source of all things and is a Union of God. This Union does not deviate from the Essence and is a Divine Union. This Union does not deviate from the Truth and is a Perfect Union. This Union regards the Heavens as its source, Virtue as its Foundation, and the Tao as it’s Way.

This Spiritual Union of the Tao cannot be burnt by fire, nor drowned by water, nor hurt by the cold of winter or the heat of summer. In nourishing it’s nature, this Union acts naturally as if nothing happens, and acts making the best choices and remains firm in holding to the Tao.

Those who form this Union possess the Tao. They are blessed in this life, and are Rulers in the hereafter. The Tao will lead them through the portals of Eternity to wander in the great wilds of Infinity.
