blankAbout Mantak Chia

Grandmaster Mantak Chia is the world’s foremost Taoist Master. He is the only Qigong Master who received The Qigong Master of the Year Award twice. He is the author of 60 books and has 49 years of teaching experience —online and onsite.

The classes with Mantak Chia are unique, thanks to his ability to transmit energy to his students, online or in the classroom. Many students practicing with Master Chia not only witness the wisdom of primordial violet light during his Energy Transmissions but also begin their initial healing processes.

About the Workshops

Mantak Chia is one of the few Qigong Masters who teaches the non westernized Inner Alchemy of Qigong.

Join Weeks 1 to learn the most important Taoist practices to calm down, balance and stabilize your nervous system with natural methods. These practices are the foundation of the Universal Healing Tao system, we recommend these workshops as a perfect start for beginners and for anyone willing to progress in other Tao practices.

During Week 2 he will guide you through the Taoist secrets of inner workings for the highest benefit of your Qigong training. Start your transformation with Inner Alchemy Qigong: a dynamic mix of moving qigong, standing qigong, breath work, meditation and energy cultivation practices. Inner alchemy aims to promote the circulation of Qi (Life force) throughout the body and use this Qi for healing purposes. It is much more challenging than physical practice and can be much more intensive.

In Mantak Chia’s own words “This is the essence of qigong”.

Program

Week 1. November 8 - 13 Taoist Fundamentals. Emotional Wisdom, Energy meditation. Open your Microcosmic orbit.
November 8-12: workshops with Grandmaster Mantak Chia (5 days, 20 hours)
November 13: Review class with instructor (2 hours)

During the workshops of Taoist Fundamentals (called Inner Alchemy) you will learn to balance emotions, get rid of stress, anxiety and worry, to activate your Energy Channel and open your Microcosmic orbit (MCO). You will learn profound Taoist meditation of 6 Healing sounds, The Inner smile and other Taoist exercises to get rid of nervous tensions and blockages. Inner Smile and the Six Healing Sounds are very important practices to make the connections between the organs, the colors and the good virtuous energies associated with each organ. These foundational practices will bring you back to your body wisdom and awaken your Qi/life-force energy.

Inner Smile originates from self-love towards our own body. You will learn to use the power of smiling to activate the relaxation response in the parasympathetic nervous system. Get rid of the negative emotion and rebalance the positive emotion.

Six Healing Sounds practice is a Powerful Healing Exercise. It has a special sound for each of the organs, the special healing color, positive emotion and special position for each sound—these will help you to restore good health and will help with the connection to the primordial force.
<
The microcosmic orbit meditation is the most essential Tao practice, it is the energy highway of your body. By circulating Qi in this simple orbit, you are generating energy to be stored in the navel. The body knows which organs need extra energy. The organs, glands, and blood automatically receive this energy when circulating the warm current. Many other practices are dependent upon your ability to perfect the Microcosmic Orbit.

Master Chia will help you to circulate your Qi in the MCO through Energy Transmission. Many students practicing with Master Chia not only witness the power of violet light during the Energy Transmission but also begin their initial healing processes. He carefully goes through each student in Tao Garden individually, and when finished, he sends this energy to the online attendees.

27 hours towards Instructor Certification (daily Morning Qigong included)

Week 2. November 15 - 18 IA Qigong Level I
November 15-17: workshops with Grandmaster Mantak Chia (3 days, 12 hours), 4 Qigong forms: Craniosacral, 5 Element, Wisdom and Stem Cell qigong
November 18: Review class with instructor (2 hours)

Craniosacral Qigong form integrates physical energy and emotion in the cosmic flow. It offers simple, powerful self-care practices by focusing on the cranial and sacral pumps and the flow of cerebrospinal fluid.

The 5 Element Qigong form involves an extensive range of movement and breathwork that activates all of the internal organs and soft tissue related to the 5 Elements. Opening the joints, relaxing the muscles, releasing tension and strain that build up from everyday living.

With Wisdom Qigong, you will use Taoist techniques to double or triple your mind power and gain vitality in your body and organs. One of the techniques is to connect with your abdominal brain to reduce energy loss.

With Stem Cell Qigong you will discover how to strengthen your immune system. By gently using a hitting technique to the body and organs, the old, sick and damaged cells will be broken down and then completely repaired by your stem cells.

In the workshops of this week you’ll learn to:

  • Increase flexibility of your spine and flow of spinal fluid
  • Optimize your nervous system and the body’s energetic flow
  • Transform excess brain activity to revitalize the organs
  • Strengthen your immune system with self care practices
  • Activate all of the internal organs and meridians ~ integrating the 5 elements within

17 hours towards Instructor Certification (daily Morning Qigong included)

Week 3. November 21 - 26. Tai Chi, Iron Shirt Qigong and Tan Tien Qigong.
November 21 - 25: workshops with Grandmaster Mantak Chia (5 days, 20 hours)
November 25: Review class with instructor (2 hours)

Tai Chi is both a martial art and a way to cultivate your physical body, energy body and spirit body. This moving meditation is one of the most complete practices there is – it is both an expression of the Tao in movement and a practice to integrate the essence of the Tao. You will learn from Mantak Chia the inner structure of Tai Chi, the secrets most teachers won’t share with you! Iron Shirtis one of the most important practices to master on the physical plane. It gives grounding and rooting, connecting you to the Earth energy. It allows you to store energy for use in higher level spiritual practices. Once an ancient martial art, now a health practice - it allows you to develop internal power through external techniques. With Tan Tien Qigong you will learn the power of your Tan Tien - the center of activation and balancing of primal energies. The Tan Tien is a container of Qi and deserves adequate attention for its essential role in our energy management. You’ll learn the 11 animal postures and the Tiger and Dragon Breath to center and refine your energies and emotions.

In the workshops of this week you’ll learn to:
