Universal Healing Tao System Overview
The Universal Healing Tao system is not a collection of separate workshops.
It is a progressive path of Taoist training developed by Grandmaster Mantak Chia to guide students step by step in cultivating energy, emotional balance, vitality, and higher levels of inner awareness.
About Inner Alchemy Qigong Series
This training is designed as a progressive introduction to the core practices of Taoist Inner Alchemy Qigong. The program follows a clear path – beginning with methods that calm the nervous system and restore emotional balance, then learning how to circulate Qi through the body, and finally strengthening the internal structure needed to store and cultivate energy.
The training is practical and experiential. You will work with essential Taoist Qigong methods – including the Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds, Microcosmic Orbit meditation, dynamic Qigong forms, Tai Chi, Iron Shirt, and Tan Tien practices – to regulate the nervous system, improve emotional balance, and build sustainable vitality.
Each week adds a new layer of skill: first you learn how to release stress and activate the body’s natural energy flow, then how to strengthen the organs and internal systems through Qigong forms, and finally how to develop grounding, internal structure, and the capacity to store Qi for deeper Taoist practice.

Why This Retreat Is Structured This Way
In many Qigong trainings, these practices are taught separately – emotional balance in one seminar, moving forms in another, Tai Chi and Iron Shirt somewhere else.
Here, they are brought together as one clear progression.
You first learn how to calm the nervous system, regulate emotions, and open the body’s main energy pathways through the Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds, and Microcosmic Orbit.
You then strengthen the organs, spine, and internal systems through dynamic Inner Alchemy Qigong forms that improve circulation, flexibility, and energetic balance.
Finally, you develop grounding, internal structure, and the ability to store Qi through Tai Chi, Iron Shirt, and Tan Tien Qigong.
Each week prepares the next. Nothing is isolated.
This progression allows you to build Taoist practice step by step – from relaxation and energy flow, to internal strengthening, to rootedness and energy storage.
You do not simply learn separate techniques.
You leave with a practical foundation for long-term Qigong practice, greater vitality, and deeper internal development.

– Are unwilling to engage in consistent, step-by-step practice
– Expect theory without personal practice and direct experience
Taoist Qigong training requires patience, presence, and respect for the gradual cultivation process that defines the Taoist tradition.
The Supporting Force of Energy Transmission
The students participating in Master Chia’s classes frequently report experiencing the Primordial Light and Sound for deep energetic healing. These are the foundations of his Taoist teaching.
“This light connects everything with one another and can be programmed and sent to anyone for healing. I connect with higher-dimensional energy, compress it, and then transmit it. No matter where people are, they will receive it because we are all connected under the same universe. This light has the power to give wisdom and healing. I will walk them through the entire process.” — Mantak Chia
The Violet Light is a high vibrational energy from the universe, also known as the Wisdom Light. It helps to regenerate organs, balance emotions, and awaken inner clarity.
Even if you can’t yet harness this energy on your own, you can receive its benefits through Master Chia’s transmission-no matter where in the world you are.
