Watkins Magazine Spiritual 100 List

Grandmaster Mantak Chia has entered the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People seven times since 2011.

Watkins Mind Body Spirit is a quarterly esoteric magazine by Watkins Books in London. Like the famous bookshop, the magazine covers a wide range of subjects from contemporary spirituality to self development and mysticism to Eastern philosophy. Watkins Bookstore has been encouraging spiritual discovery and providing seekers with esoteric knowledge for over 120 years. The magazine dates back to 1893, when John Watkins published his first volume his first volume of the Book-Notes, which included book reviews, occult news and excerpts from recommended books.

Watkins’ Mind Body Spirit Magazine has selected Grandmaster Mantak Chia many times to appear in the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People since 2011.

The 100 list takes several factors into account when compiling their list. Listed below are the main three:

• The person has to be alive,
• The person has to have made a unique and spiritual contribution on a global scale,
• The person is frequently googled, appears in Nielsen Data, and is highlighted throughout the blogosphere.

It’s interesting to think about the number of times a person is googled; in a sense, being googled is a form of digital voting that illustrates how often someone is being sought out.
